Jinny began her career in the UK ( Bristol, hence the accent) as a manager at 18 years old, which she carried through until 2018. Jinny managed various sectors of the retail industry, from convenience stores, video shops, petrol stations and finally into the pub restaurant sector, with her husband. In 2018 they relocated with their 4 children to Ireland, where for the first time Jinny had time on her hands, after making the decision to stay at home with the children.
Jinny then began baking in 2019, her daughter’s birthday was coming up and as she had always had a good artistic flair, with drawing being her strength, she thought, I can make a cake!!! We need to acknowledge Jinny’s culinary ability is Sausage Roll (from the freezer!!) and baked beans!!!
With chuckles from the family, spurring her on, she threw around some flour and eggs and set to work. The cake ended up being an LOL Doll cake. On the whole it turned out a lot better than anyone anticipated. Jinny enjoyed surprising her rightly sceptical family and continued baking and loving the decorating.
In just a few months things were beginning to look like she may actually have a flair for this and was beginning to be asked for cakes from the family!!
Fast forward to now and she has managed to spread herself over most social medias, providing many recipes, tutorials and giggles along her way.
The best news is there’s not a sausage roll in sight!!!!
