Canon Complete Edible Printer Printhead Cleaning Kit

Everything you need to manually clean a removable Canon printhead when normal printer cleaning has not resolved blocked nozzles, missing colours, banding or poor ink flow.

This complete kit includes our Jinny’s Cakes Print Head Cleaning Fluid, so there’s no need to purchase cleaning solution separately.

How to use

Remove the Canon printhead from the printer and place it over absorbent kitchen paper.

Draw a small amount of Jinny’s Cakes Print Head Cleaning Fluid into the syringe and attach the cleaning tube.

Fit the tube carefully over the ink inlet for the affected colour.

Slowly and gently push the cleaning fluid through the printhead. Never force the syringe. Allow the cleaning fluid time to work through any dried edible ink.

Continue gently until the fluid begins to flow freely through the printhead.

Blot away any excess solution without rubbing the nozzle plate and leave the printhead to dry completely before reinstalling it into the printer.

Once reinstalled, replace the edible ink cartridges and run a nozzle check.

Important: This kit is intended for clearing dried or restricted edible ink from a compatible removable Canon printhead. It cannot repair a mechanically or electrically damaged printhead.
