A beautifully detailed rose border designed to create an elegant, continuous embossed pattern in fondant.

Featuring sculpted roses framed within delicate oval details and connected with a pretty woven-style motif, this design has a gorgeous vintage feel while still being incredibly versatile. Use it as a repeating border, create elegant vertical panels around a cake, or pick out individual sections of the design for smaller decorative details.

How to Use

For best results, roll your fondant to approximately 5mm (½cm) thick.

Lightly dust the fondant with cornflour to help prevent sticking. Alternatively, a very small amount of vegetable shortening can be used.

Place the roller at the beginning of your fondant and, using firm, even pressure, make one continuous roll to create the impression.

If the fondant begins to stick slightly, keep the roller in position rather than rolling backwards or forwards. Gently pull the fondant down and away from the roller before continuing. This helps prevent the design from overlapping or creating a double impression.

Jinny's Tip: Roll your fondant on a silicone mat or sheet of parchment paper. Once embossed, this allows you to move the entire piece to one side without disturbing the design. Leave it to rest for approximately 10 minutes before using it on your cake. This gives the fondant time to firm slightly and helps the embossed detail hold its shape beautifully.

Care Instructions

Wash before first use and after each use with warm water and mild dish soap.

• Keep away from ovens and other direct heat sources
• Do not leave in prolonged direct sunlight
• PLA is heat sensitive and may warp when exposed to high temperatures
• Allow to dry completely before storing
• Store in a cool, dry place
