Create a beautifully imperfect, contemporary finish with our new Concrete Texture Roller.

Inspired by the natural irregularities of raw concrete and aged plaster, this design creates an organic surface filled with subtle pits, rough areas and uneven texture. There is no obvious repeating pattern, giving cakes a realistic stone, concrete or plaster-style finish.

Perfect for modern celebration cakes, industrial designs, stone effects, rustic finishes and contemporary wedding cakes. Leave it beautifully simple or build on the texture with colour, dusts, metallics and painted finishes to create completely different looks.

How to Use

Roll your fondant to approximately 5mm (½cm) thick.

Lightly dust the fondant with cornflour to help prevent sticking. Alternatively, use a very small amount of vegetable shortening if preferred.

Position the roller at the edge of your fondant and, using firm, even pressure, make one continuous roll across the surface.

If the fondant begins to stick, keep the roller in position rather than rolling backwards or forwards and gently pull the fondant down and away. This helps prevent an overlapping or double impression.

Jinny's Tip: Work on a silicone mat or parchment paper. Once embossed, move the fondant to one side and allow it to rest for approximately 10 minutes before using. This gives the fondant time to firm slightly and helps preserve the texture when transferring it to your cake.

Care Instructions

Wash before first use and after each use with warm water and mild dish soap.

• Do not place in the dishwasher
• Do not use boiling or very hot water
• Keep away from ovens and direct heat sources
• PLA is heat sensitive and may warp when exposed to high temperatures
• Allow to dry completely before storing
• Store in a cool, dry place away from prolonged direct sunlight
