Calllebaut's couverture chocolate has extra cocoa butter in, allowing them to flow better when melted. This makes it a lot easier to melt, temper, pour, mould and much more. Great for chocolatiers!
Callebaut has been manufacturing couverture chocolates in Belgium for over 150 years, using only the highest quality ingredients. They are renowned for being one of the largest manufacturers of chocolate in the world and supply many of the top chocolatiers.
This milk chocolate contains 33.6% cocoa, and has a medium bitter, chocolatey taste with a hint of vanilla. Perfect for baking! The unique 'callet' shape of the chocolate allows it to be easily melted and tempered, giving it a much better, glossy finish. The shape allows it to be melted smoothly, and can also be used as chocolate chips for baking!
