Fractal Isomalt - 200 g

Approximately half as sweet as granulated sugar (saccharose), however unlike sugar it does not require insulin to be taken up by the body.

At around 2,4 kcal/g, it's energy content is somewhat less than sugar's.

This sugar substitue is heat and acid resistant, and harmonises well with other sugar substitutes and sweeteners.

In the food industry isomalt is used mainly in reduced energy content food.

Despite its sweetness it does not cause tooth decay.
